Halloween Family Portrait

     For the past seven years we have hosted "The Washburn's Halloween Bash". A tradition that was started when we were invited to a Halloween Party in the neighborhood we now live in, before we lived here. Our friends had invited us to a party at their house and we were blown away by the amount of residents that participated in the festivities. 

     The next year we moved in and continued the tradition of inviting friends that did not live in neighborhoods that were not so enthusiastic to participate in the fun. For seven years we hosted the event, but this year we have decided to join forces with our friends in the cul-de-sac behind us. It won't be quite like before, but I'm sure we will enjoy it. One of the traditions I have continued, is creating a 'family portrait' / invitation. 

Even though we are not hosting this year, I am posting this year's family portrait. This piece was inspired by Disney's Haunted Mansion ride and is a composite made in Photoshop. I wanted to create a composition that reminded me of the ride and I feel happy about it. Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think.
